Kate's Kart is a non-profit organization set up in honor of little Katherine Anne Layman (June 26, 2006 - January 15, 2008). She is a little girl from Fort Wayne, IN (where Mike and I used to live) who passed away at just 18 months old after months of dealing with a heart condition called Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia.
Kate loved to have books read to her at home and in the hospital. Kate's Kart was started to supply free books to children in the hospital in Fort Wayne.
